EKG

An EKG, or Electrocardiogram, records the electrical activity of the heart and may be used as part of a physical exam or to diagnose a more severe problem.

During an EKG, adhesive electrodes  are attached to your chest, arms and legs to record the electrical activity of your heart. The test takes only 5-10 minutes, during which you will be lying down. The test is quick, comfortable, and totally pain-free.
